Financial Analyst (Back End Operations Finance)|FP&A/ Power BI|US MNC

The client is the world leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “Top Best Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.

  • Employment Type: 12-month Contract (Renewable)
  • Working Hours: Regular Office Hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support BE Operations Finance across costing, forecasting, month-end close, and performance reporting
  • Deliver project-based and ad-hoc analysis support, including system testing and process improvements within defined timelines
  • Drive process redesign and automation, including workflow simplification, template redesign, and reporting automation
  • Ensure proper controls, validation checks, versioning, and documentation for sustainable processes
  • Develop and maintain Power BI / Tableau dashboards for standardized, self-service reporting
  • Use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support data preparation, analysis, documentation, and reporting (with validation)
  • Perform cost and variance analysis, improving transparency of key drivers (volume, yield, spending, etc.)
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and closing cycles, including data consolidation and variance commentary
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, and cross-functional Finance teams
  • Maintain process documentation, metrics definitions, and governance standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, or financial analysis Manufacturing / semiconductor / operations-driven environment (preferred)
  • Experience in contract or project-based roles is an advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Strong financial analysis skills: cost tracking, variance analysis, trend analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, large datasets, Power Query preferred)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, TM1, Power BI or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of standard costing and manufacturing cost drivers
  • Experience in month-end close activities (accruals, reconciliations, validation)
  • Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) is a plus
