You are joining Super as a Head of Tax & Financial Transformation, taking ownership of a high-visibility leadership mandate to insource the tax function and drive critical finance transformation projects. Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role is designed for a commercially minded professional who can operate at a strategic level whilst remaining hands-on, partnering closely with the business to deliver measurable impact.

What the role involves

Tax

  • Lead the transition of tax activities from external advisors to an internal function, ensuring a seamless handover and immediate optimisation of cost and processes
  • Maintain full oversight of local and international tax legislation, ensuring 100% compliance across corporate tax, VAT, and regulatory filings
  • Proactively manage tax planning strategies that minimise liabilities and optimise the company's cash flow and financial performance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and external auditors, managing enquiries and defending the company's position during inspections
  • Provide high-level guidance on complex matters including Transfer Pricing and cross-border transactions

Financial Transformation & Special Projects

  • Lead the technical implementation of major regulatory changes (e.g., KSEF, JPK), ensuring systems and processes are future-proofed
  • Drive local implementation of Group-level transformation solutions and efficiency projects
  • Act as the key finance stakeholder in ERP optimisations (MS Dynamics) to ensure tax and reporting requirements are automated and integrated
  • Support country management by analysing the tax and financial implications of new business initiatives and legislative changes, including scenario planning

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, with a strong foundation in Tax
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax legislation
  • Proven ability to operate at a strategic level — influencing senior stakeholders — whilst maintaining a hands-on approach
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects from conception through to delivery
  • Change management experience, with the ability to drive transformation in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Excellent command of English, with the ability to translate complex financial and tax concepts into clear commercial language for non-finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; MS Dynamics experience preferred

What we offer

  • Medical / Health Insurance
  • Open Annual Leave
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Training & Learning Development

Additional benefits vary by country and will be shared during the hiring process.
