Fleet Administrator

Core Job Functions

· Administrates:

- Managed fleet databases

- Outlook

- Customer feedback

· Liaises with Superintendents in order to arrange Class surveys as required

· Liaises with the Marine Supts and HSQE for the preparation of the quarterly Vetting memo

· Interfaces with the vessel and various customers for operational issues to provide cover for the Fleet staff in dealing with daily communications

· Requires to be thoroughly familiar with our SMS and standards

· Corresponds with assigned vessels for issues, as:

- Technical/class manuals

- Technical/marine issues

· Collection, analysis and presentation of results from ship correspondence

· Retrieves technical/marine data, to provide them in a professional manner, when necessary

· Logs and reviews all deficiencies to ensure compliance with set operating policies and procedures

Core Competencies

· Bachelor’s degree in shipping

· Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position

· Good knowledge of:

- ISM

- TMSA, for tankers

- Vetting requirements, for tankers

- Ship's classification

· Maintenance planning is desirable

· Literate in computers use, IT experience:

- Spreadsheets

- Ms Project

- Internet

· Good command of English Language, both oral and writing

· PMS software familiarity

· Experience in a working environment:

- Teamwork

- Organizing skills

- Taking Initiative

- Working to Deadlines
