Food and drinks stall assistant
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales: Greeting customers, taking orders, handling cash or digital payments (POS system), and managing takeaway packaging.
- Food/Drink Preparation: Preparing beverages (coffee, tea, drinks), simple food items (toasting, reheating, basic cooking), and ensuring quality.
- Stall Hygiene & Cleaning: Cleaning work areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery to maintain food safety standards.
- Operations & Inventory: Monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking displays, and assisting with opening/closing routines.
- Service & Support: Serving food to tables, assisting managers, and performing ad-hoc duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn, good attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety/hygiene regulations is usually required.
