Forwarder
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import and export operations (Air & Sea)
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, warehouses, and 3PLs
- Prepare and review shipment documentation (BL/AWB, Invoice, Packing List, DO, COO)
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers
- Arrange customs clearance, inland transportation, and cargo loading
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade compliance requirements
- Act as SC401 certified authorized declarant, independently handling permit applications
- Resolve shipment delays, demurrage, detention, or documentation issues
- Maintain accurate shipment records and billing details
- Manage temporary import/export procedures, including ATA Carnets and duty/GST relief schemes
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- SC401 Certified
- 3–5 years of experience in import/export operations or customs clearance
- Familiarity with customs systems and port operations
- Understanding of HS codes, duty/GST calculations, and Incoterms
- Experience with US Customs Regulations is a plus
