Freelance trainer

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Freelance Trainer to conduct first aid training for various groups of learners. The trainer will lead interactive lessons, provide hands-on guidance, and help participants gain the skills and confidence to handle emergency situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first aid training sessions according to approved course guidelines and standards.
• Demonstrate practical skills such as CPR, AED operation, and basic life support techniques.
• Assess participants’ understanding and practical performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure all training equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.
• Answer participants’ questions and provide support to help them understand the training content.
• Keep updated on the latest first aid practices, procedures, and equipment.

Requirements

• Must have ACTA or ACLP certification.
• Certified First Aid Trainer or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Strong knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
• Previous experience in conducting first aid or related training is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Familiar with training equipment such as AEDs and CPR manikins.
• Valid first aid certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, or equivalent.
• Good organizational and administrative skills.

• Good problem-solving skills and able to manage unexpected situations during training.

Work Environment

• Training may be conducted in classrooms, company premises, or other locations.
• The role may require standing for long periods and demonstrating physical techniques
