Geotechnical Engineer

Job Overview

• Company: Geosmart International Pte. Ltd. (A registered Specialist Builder with the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore)
• Location: Central Region, Singapore
• Salary Range: SGD 3,000 to SGD 3500 per month
• Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Manage and resolve all on-site geotechnical, structural instrumentation, and civil engineering issues.
• Data & Field Monitoring: Monitor on-site instrumentation works and oversee the preparation of soil investigation bore logs.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise and coordinate engineering workflows with sub-contractors, project teams, and clients.
• Meetings & Reporting: Attend critical technical project meetings and generate engineering reports required for geotechnical clearance.

Requirements &Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board of Singapore.
• Experience: Mid-to-senior levels are required depending on the exact opening tier.
• Standard Tier: 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Senior Tier: 5 to 8+ years of localized experience.
• Project Exposure: Direct working experience with Singapore MRT / Land Transport Authority infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in soil classification, data analysis, and structural instrumentation monitoring.
