Graduate Traders

You will report to a senior trader and gain exposure to front, middle and back office functions to understand the end-to-end trading flow. You will participate in research, generate and back-test trading ideas, implement strategies, monitor live strategies, liaise with exchanges on operational matters, and ensure trades are booked and reconciled accurately.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the research and development of new trading strategies
• Perform quantitative analysis to improve existing trading strategies
• Generate trading ideas, formulate strategies and back-test implementations
• Monitor and analyse live trading strategy performance
• Liaise with exchanges on margin requirements, coin borrows and trade breaks
• Ensure timely and correct booking and reconciliation of trades with middle office and finance
• Investigate market products and analyse solutions to meet strategy requirements

Requirements

• No prior trading or crypto experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Science Technology Mathematics or Engineering or a quantitative minor
• Experience using Python
• Experience using C++
• Experience using Excel
• Knowledge of mathematical modelling of large datasets
• Experience with data mining
• Experience with machine learning is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork
• High level of initiative
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
