Trading Operations Team Lead

You will build and manage a global team of trading operations professionals supporting clients' daily trading activities. You will design and run post-trade lifecycle processes, ensure timely settlements and reconciliations, implement risk mitigation strategies, perform cash positioning and inventory management, reconcile assets across internal ledgers and external systems using blockchain explorers and trading platforms, liaise with engineering and product teams to advocate for operational needs, collaborate with Accounting and Finance to resolve breakages, and develop process improvements while staying current on tokens, protocols, staking, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a global trading operations team
• Ensure timely settlements and reconciliations
• Implement risk mitigation strategies
• Develop and refine post-trade processes and performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs)
• Oversee spot lending and derivatives operations
• Reconcile assets across internal ledgers and external systems using blockchain explorers and trading platforms
• Perform cash positioning and inventory management
• Liaise with engineering and product teams to advocate for operational needs
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to resolve breakages
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives
• Stay informed on tokens, protocols, staking, and governance

Requirements

• 7+ years experience supporting post trade activities of institutional clients in both traditional asset classes and crypto assets
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
• Experience with financial operations and risk management
• Full understanding of settlement operations and regulatory and operational considerations
• Proven experience creating end-to-end trade operations processes including trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, derivatives, and risk management
• Proven ability to assemble and lead teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and executive presence
