GUCCI Merchandiser

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for optimizing the product assortment, identifying key opportunities &suggesting innovative actions, to drive regional performance
  • Accountable for managing process flow on key projects and interact effectively with cross-functional counterparts
  • Work closely with cross-function team to ensure new collections achieve full potential, with creative solution to drive Sell-Through, reaching seasonal Sell-Through target for assigned categories
  • Work closely with Inventory Planners to ensure stocks are properly managed to seize business opportunity
  • Communicate with confidence the regional product strategy for the department/s, through buy presentations & product briefings
  • Regular analysis of sales KPIs to propose consequent action plans (consolidation, re-orders, launch plans, styling trainings)
  • Elaborating and consolidating inputs, opportunity and trends from regular market visits and store attachments
  • Assist Manager to define regional pricing strategies on a seasonal basis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Merchandising or equivalent, is preferred
  • Minimum 5years’ of buying experience, preferably within the luxury/fashion industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Enjoys teamwork environment with excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can multitask in a fast-paced environment &manage competing priorities with agile mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel &PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel for buy trips and market visits
