Head of Communications
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Communications to lead the company's global communications strategy. In this role, you will shape and govern a unified corporate narrative that strengthens brand trust, executive credibility, and institutional reputation.
Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, you will oversee corporate communications, public relations, executive positioning, and crisis communications while leading and developing the communications team to deliver strategic impact.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the company's global communications strategy, defining clear messaging pillars and ensuring consistent execution across corporate communications, media engagement, and executive positioning
Act as a strategic advisor to the C-suite, providing insights, reporting, and recommendations that support business priorities, reputational objectives, and brand positioning
Oversee executive communications, including leadership messaging, speeches, presentations, interviews, media engagements, industry events, conferences, and internal town halls
Lead global public relations and media relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with top-tier financial, business, and technology media to strengthen the company's visibility and credibility
Oversee corporate communications content and planning, including press releases, corporate announcements, thought leadership, social media messaging, and the overall communications calendar
Lead crisis communications and reputation management, ensuring timely and consistent messaging during high-risk situations in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership
Develop strategic narratives for partnerships, sponsorships, and brand ambassadors, ensuring these initiatives are fully leveraged to support the company's positioning and storytelling
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Employer Branding, Events, and CSR teams to ensure alignment between internal messaging, external communications, and brand positioning
Monitor industry trends, media landscapes, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities and risks that may impact brand perception and long-term growth
Drive performance and accountability, setting departmental KPIs with the CMO, overseeing communications analytics and reporting, and translating insights into continuous improvement
Lead and develop the communications team, fostering a high-performance culture through clear objectives, coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing
Main requirements:
BSc/MSc in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or any other related analytical field
Over 15 years of proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand communications, ideally in fintech, or online trading
Proven track record of developing and executing global communication strategies, including executive positioning, media relations, crisis communications, and large-scale narrative development
Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments, and reputational risk management
Exceptional strategic thinking and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to shape a clear and compelling corporate voice
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to translate data, insights, and market developments into clear strategic actions
High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams
High levels of ownership, integrity, discretion, and professionalism, with the ability to operate confidently in high-pressure and high-visibility situations
Interest in or experience using AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance communications strategy, media intelligence, and operational efficiency will be considered an advantage
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
