Head of Product Engineering (f/m/x)

  • Transition of new developments into series production, including technical documentation
  • Collaboration on development and customer projects from specification through to successful transition to series production
  • Building and leading a team of five, as well as implementing efficient structures and processes
  • Interface management between development, purchasing, production, product management, and customer support
  • Continuous optimization of manufacturing processes in terms of quality, costs, and efficiency throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Analysis of quality deviations, as well as the development and implementation of sustainable improvement measures

  • A degree in a technical field (university of applied sciences or technical university), such as mechatronics, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering, and/or a completed technical apprenticeship as a technician or master craftsman
  • Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in a leadership role in an industrial setting, ideally with responsibility for building or transforming organizations
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing technologies and industrialization processes
  • Proven expertise in establishing structures, processes, and teams, as well as in the sustainable implementation of changes
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution skills (“Execution Excellence”)
  • Strong assertiveness, clear communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with SAP and Jira is a plus
  • Analytical methodology skills such as Six Sigma, RCA, etc., are a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
