HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. You will assemble heavy mobile equipment , install, and repair, i.e., bulldozers, road graders, fuel dispensing trucks, snow removal and fire protection equipment.

You will interpret instructions, technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to make repairs and modifications

You will measure instruments and test equipment such as engine analyzers, dynamometers, exhaust analyzers, vacuum and fuel pump testers, injector testers, ignition timers, tachometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters.

You will troubleshoot mechanical problems, analyze malfunctions, and determine the extent of repairs necessary.

You will use and maintain hand and/or power tools and equipment required to do the work of heavy mobile equipment mechanic.
