We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our dedicated team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for hardworking individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position Overview
The Housekeeper plays a key role in ensuring Plantana’s guest units and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork to uphold Plantana’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitise, and prepare guest units for arrivals, departures, mid-stay service, and back-to-back reservations, ensuring each unit meets Plantana’s high presentation standards.
• Strip and replace linens, towels, and amenities as required for each service type.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the staff room and other common spaces as required throughout the day.
• Report any maintenance needs, inventory shortages, or guest-related issues promptly to the Head Housekeeper or Office.
• Work collaboratively with the Houseman and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations, especially during high-turnover periods.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and property procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and peak occupancy periods.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay: Competitive hourly rate plus gratuities.
• Standard Work Week: 45 hours (up to 6 days, including weekends).
• Overtime: Paid 1.5× rate after 45 hours per week or 9 hours per day, in accordance with the Cayman Islands Labour Act.
• Public Holidays: Paid 2× rate when worked.
• Health Insurance: 100% of the employee premium under the Standard Health Insurance Contract (SHIC) plan is covered by Plantana.
  Pension: 5% employer match.
• Vacation: 2 weeks per year, increasing with tenure as guided by the Labour Act.
• Sick Leave: 10 days per year.
• Probation: 6 months.
• Eligibility: Caymanians, RERC holders, and Permanent Residents with the right to work only.
