HR Executive, Talent Acquisition & Employee Development
This position is expected to independently manage blue collar recruitment, onboarding programmes, training coordination and HR vendor management.
Job Description
SF Express (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and resourceful HR professional to support our growing operations in Singapore. This role will focus on frontline recruitment(including drivers, warehouse personnel, customer service staff and other Tier 1 & Tier 2 employees),onboarding and employee development, while also managing relationships with external HR service providers and recruitment partners.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting workforce growth across our logistics and supply chain operations and ensuring a positive employee experience from hiring through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline and operational positions, including drivers, warehouse personnel, customer service staff and other Tier 1 & Tier 2 employees.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies through job portals, referrals, recruitment agencies, community outreach and other recruitment channels.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate assessments, offer management and onboarding arrangements.
• Monitor recruitment performance and provide regular hiring updates to stakeholders.
Onboarding & Employee Development
• Manage new employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Coordinate training schedules, training records and employee development activities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of onboarding and learning initiatives.
Vendor Management
• Identify, evaluate and onboard HR-related service providers, including recruitment agencies, training providers and other HR vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships, service quality, contractual matters and performance reviews.
• Support cost optimisation and continuous improvement of outsourced services.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce planning and other HR activities as assigned.
• Proactively identify issues and recommend practical solutions to improve hiring effectiveness and employee experience.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR operations.
• Experience in frontline, high-volume or logistics-related recruitment will be an advantage.
• Experience in onboarding, training coordination or vendor management is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Resourceful, proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Language Requirement
The role is required to communicate and coordinate regularly with Mandarin-speaking candidates, employees, recruitment partners and service providers in Singapore and overseas markets. Therefore, the ability to read, write and communicate in Mandarin is required for business communication purposes.
