Location: Makati, Valero
Reports to: Director of Human Resources


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist with experience supporting Philippine HR Operations. This role will be responsible for a broad range of human resources functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, reporting, and administrative support. The ideal candidate brings hands on experience with PH processes, and a strong knowledge of HR practices in the U.S.



Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the US and PH HR inbox and respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Facilitate and coordinate New Hire Orientation for both U.S. and Philippines employees
  • Track and report on annual compliance training completion
  • Monitor new hire training progress and provide regular reporting
  • Support and administer the performance review cycle
  • Handle and track employee relations for both the U.S. and Philippines teams, escalating as appropriate
  • Process and manage Workers’ Compensation documentation (U.S.)
  • Assist with unemployment claims administration (U.S.)
  • Prepare and deliver monthly HR reports and metrics
  • Track returned company equipment and coordinate related communications/letters
  • Participate in and support special HR projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in the Philippines (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience supporting U.S. employees
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices
  • Working knowledge of U.S. HR processes, including compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues across different regions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., BambooHR or similar) and Microsoft Office Workspace
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-country environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-country or shared services HR environment
  • Familiarity with U.S. compliance requirements (e.g., Workers’ Compensation, unemployment processes)
  • Experience with training tracking systems and performance management tools


Work Requirements:

  • Must reside within NCR or neighboring region for contingency
  • Amenable to work in Makati
