About the role

Knightsbridge House International School is seeking an individual to lead a team of HR specialists in managing HR as well as operations in Singapore and Japan.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee job postings, shortlisting, interviews, offer extension, onboarding and induction processes

  • Facilitate work-pass applications, including renewal / cancellation for the respective countries

  • Support employees on relocation matters as required

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics, in the HR system and staff personal folder

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals

  • Liaise with local authorities for all HR matters such as paid leave applications for maternity/paternity/childcare and NS leave in Singapore, tax submissions (IRAS 21 and IRAS 8A) and application of levy waiver for foreign employees (where applicable)

  • Payroll calculation, including local requirements such as monthly CPF contributions for Singapore operations and insurance deductions for Japan

  • Analyze current and future workforce needs, succession planning and staffing strategies

  • Prepare and present HR reports to management

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations such as office supplies, IT equipment allocation, printer setup / trouble-shooting and facility management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration and Accounts, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in HR software and tools

  • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulatory requirements

  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
