Human Resources (HR) Director
Responsibilities:
- Take full accountability for the overall HR function and end-to-end execution across Huawei Singapore Rep Office, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment at all levels.
- Provide high-impact, forward-looking HR solutions to the Rep Office, and lead the full-cycle execution with measurable business outcomes, from problem diagnosis to sustainable implementation.
- Proactively surface and address critical pain points across organization design, talent depth, incentive effectiveness, workplace culture, and HR operational efficiency. Operate as a trusted business partner at the executive table to decode complex business needs and translate them into people strategies that directly fuel business success and competitive advantage.
- Develop comprehensive, data-driven HR planning in direct response to business plans. Precisely identify talent gaps in mission-critical positions and engineer robust talent supplementation and management frameworks that continuously elevate organizational capability and leadership bench strength.
- Champion and embed the company's core values throughout the Rep Office. Drive initiatives to cultivate a resilient, high-energy, and psychologically safe organizational environment that inspires peak performance and employee loyalty.
- Maintain constant vigilance over potential HR-related incidents and emerging risks. Architect and regularly update contingency backup plans to ensure rapid, decisive, and effective response in crisis situations, safeguarding business continuity and corporate reputation.
- This role requires proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with Singapore-based regulatory bodies and local stakeholders, as well as to support collaboration with Chinese-speaking global decision-makers, domestic manufacturing partners, and regional headquarters counterparts based in China.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, English, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrate profound, nuanced mastery of the company's policies, strategic direction, and cultural DNA. Possess exceptional business insight and sharp logical reasoning to navigate complexity and drive sound people decisions at scale.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience in a comparable capacity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within large-scale, matrixed, multinational organizations. Proven success in leading enterprise-level HR transformation and managing sophisticated, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Exhibit superior professional competency in core HR disciplines, with deep expertise in leadership development, executive succession, organizational effectiveness, and performance transformation. Have a verifiable track record of architecting and executing integrated, multi-functional HR solutions that deliver tangible business impact.
- Demonstrate outstanding soft skills, including high-stakes communication, board-level presentation, cross-cultural negotiation, and stakeholder influence across all organizational levels.
- Display strong adaptability and flexibility to embrace evolving tasks and job scopes as assigned. Proven resilience under pressure, comfort with ambiguity, and a steadfast commitment to delivering results even in the face of shifting priorities.
