IT Service Delivery & Applications Head | Banking sector

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to oversee IT operations, enterprise platforms, and technology initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT functions, driving automation initiatives, supporting enterprise applications, and leading application development and integration projects.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in managing technology teams while working closely with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage overall IT operations, systems, and technology support services
• Oversee enterprise platforms, business systems, and platform integrations
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and system reliability
• Manage application development, enhancement, implementation, and maintenance
• Ensure smooth support and performance of existing applications and enterprise platforms
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Coordinate IT projects, resources, timelines, and vendor management
• Establish and maintain IT standards, policies, security controls, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
• Ensure systems and processes comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements
• Participate in IT audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and infrastructure solutions
• Lead, mentor, and manage technical teams and external vendors when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 15 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within financial services or a fast-paced enterprise environment
• Strong experience in enterprise platforms, software development, and system integration
• Proven experience driving automation and process improvement initiatives
• Hands-on technical experience in application support, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems operations, and enterprise applications
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with regulatory and IT governance requirements is an advantage
