IT Site Leader
POSITION SUMMARY
- The IT Coordinator will oversee and support the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient service delivery, system reliability, and user satisfaction. This role involves coordinating IT support activities, managing vendor relationships, and assisting in the planning and execution of infrastructure and end-user computing projects. The IT Coordinator will serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and monitor IT support activities to ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for infrastructure and equipment support.
- Oversee asset management and inventory control of IT equipment.
- Support implementation of IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT service delivery and user experience.
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and support protocols.
- Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for IT operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in IT support or coordination roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with SCCM, MDM tools, and software deployment.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and ISO standards (9001, 27001).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
