IT Specialist (NETWORK)

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Modified Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of DoD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

You will be responsible for the management, installation, maintenance, and trouble resolution of all infrastructure supporting voice, video, and data networks operated at the command.

You will be responsible for recommending cable assignments and notifying leadership of areas where cable resources are limited.

You will be responsible for managing complex Information Technology projects, clarifying customer requirements, and developing project documents.

You will submit new circuit orders, verify available funding, and deactivate obsolete circuits.

You will perform site surveys and develop cost estimates for infrastructure builds and associates updates to the cable management documentation.
