Kitchen Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the central kitchen with preparation of ingredients
- Wash, peel and cutting a variety of ingredient and minimize food wastage
- Preparation of food by cooking, frying, steaming, boiling etc
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Label and store food items properly in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with inventory control and restocking of supplies
- Dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements:
- Able to work within tight deadlines
- Prior experience kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended hours
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- 6 days’ work week (Monday to Saturday, 0730hrs to 1730hrs)
