Laboratory Analyst (Chemistry)
Job Description:
- Conduct laboratory operations in designated areas and report any malfunction, abnormality
- Practice good housekeeping to ensure the work area and surrounding is kept clean.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste as defined in the Hazardous Waste Plan
- Verify and keep proper documentations once samples are received and opened
- Coordinate receipt and registration of samples in the LIMS software in a timely manner to be processed for testing without delay
- Report any equipment problem, calibration issues, or difficult samples
- Check equipment readiness for assigned test method, carry out QC test as needed and enter result in the SQC system.
- Homogenize sample and subdivide for various test benches
- Carry out routine testing of assigned bench
- Data entry of test results in datasheet or in LIMS
- Ensure all Safety and Health policies, test procedures are followed while carrying out test
- Any other ad hoc duties
Job Requirement:
- Education - Chemistry
- Minimum 1 year experience in relevant field
- Training will be provided
- Shift Work
