Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer , a technician with a good understanding of Agile and ITIL processes, who can act as a coach for our DevOps team junior members. Your role will involve crafting, strategizing, and executing tasks. Moreover, you'll be integral in spearheading strategic endeavors like establishing high-availability application environments, conducting disaster recovery assessments, and facilitating the seamless onboarding of new clientele. Responsibilities Lead the multi-tenant project as the Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer Instruct and coach junior members of the DevOps team Design, plan, and engineer tasks for the team Participate in strategic activities such as setting up the environment for high availability applications and conducting disaster recovery testing Participate in the onboarding of new customers Ensuring security by design and adhering to the principle of least privilege Comply with CSTR, Cloud Platform & Engineering standards Requirements 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and AKS, with strong skills in Azure DevOps Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers Proficiency in Terraform Knowledge of DevOps tools and in-depth understanding of DevOps practices Python skills would be advantageous Deep understanding of network scale and security scopes A good understanding of Agile and ITIL processes Ability to work in Central European Time (CET) hours (9 AM – 5 PM) Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (Upper-Intermediate Level) Nice to have Basic understanding of AWS and GCP
