Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring machinery reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and production equipmentPerform equipment rebuilds and upgrades to improve reliability and performanceParticipate in scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance programsRespond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls as part of a rotating on-call scheduleCollaborate daily with production teams and maintenance leadership regarding equipment statusDiagnose machine malfunctions and operational issues across multiple systemsSupport root cause analysis and implement corrective solutionsServe as a technical resource to equipment operators during troubleshootingEvaluate assigned projects, plan repairs, and execute work within defined timelinesAnticipate risks and operational impacts before performing repairs or modificationsEnsure equipment is fully tested and operational following maintenance activitiesOrder necessary parts, materials, tools, and suppliesHelp control maintenance costs while maintaining quality and reliability standardsMaintain accurate communication regarding plant conditions impacting safety, cost, or productionPromote strong working relationships and open communication across teamsStay current with evolving maintenance technologies and industry best practicesFollow all plant safety procedures, housekeeping requirements, and work rulesQualifications
Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical knowledge a plusFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, conveyors, or automated equipmentAbility to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentationComfortable working independently and within a team environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsCommitment to safety and continuous improvement
