Manager, People & Culture

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring People & Culture Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, culture, and creating meaningful employee experiences.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the employee journey, drive People & Culture initiatives, and support the overall management of the department, ensuring alignment with the Mondrian philosophy and fostering a vibrant workplace culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, updating, and implementing People & Culture policies, procedures, and HR-related programs to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Monitoring labor market trends, employment legislation, and industry developments, providing recommendations to support business and people strategies.
  • Overseeing the performance management process and partnering with department leaders to ensure effective performance reviews and employee development.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and established workplace standards.
  • Advising managers and employees on employee relations matters, career development, performance concerns, and workplace issues.
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and employment regulations.
  • Preparing and maintaining People & Culture correspondence, records, reports, and documentation.
  • Fostering a positive workplace culture through employee engagement, recognition, and well-being initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent.
  • Managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Analyzing workforce requirements and partnering with department leaders to support effective manpower planning.
  • Coordinating recruitment activities in line with approved staffing plans and business needs.
  • Maintaining strong partnerships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other talent sources.
  • Preparing recruitment and workforce reports, tracking key metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Conducting recruitment and exit interviews, providing insights and recommendations to support employee retention and organizational effectiveness.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Solid understanding of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and labor legislation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while building effective relationships across the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Fluent in English and Korean, both written and spoken
