Manufacturing Test Development Engineer
Description
As Manufacturing Test Engineer Work with hardware engineers to define test strategies and develop automated test solutions for Fixed Networks products, support manufacturing suppliers in implementing and maintaining these solutions, analyze test data to drive improvements, and collaborate with customer teams to automate product configuration in factories and warehouses
- Collaborate with hardware development engineers to define test strategies for Fixed Networks products.
- Design and develop automated functional test solutions for manufacturing environments.
- Create system and traffic test solutions to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Support global manufacturing sites in validating every produced unit.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing suppliers on test solution implementation.
- Assist suppliers in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing test systems.
- Analyze test and production data to identify improvement opportunities in products and processes.
- Work with customer teams to automate product configuration based on factory and warehouse requirements.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong knowledge of electronics hardware design (PCB) and hardware testing methodologies.
Proficient in Python programming with solid object-oriented programming skills.
Experience with programming languages and tools such as TestStand, TCL, and C/C++, along with an understanding of LLM techniques.
Familiarity with test instruments, instrument control, optical communication network standards (e.g., PON/AP), and Linux-based development environments.
It would be nice if you also had:
Experience with Linux systems and programming within that environment.
Strong understanding of networking principles, including GPON technologies, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Familiarity with Wi-Fi RF, antennas hardware design, test and certification.
Demonstrated working enthusiasm, teamwork spirit, and experience with large-scale projects
