Market Surveillance Executive

π° Salary: Commensurate with experience
π Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM β 6:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor trading activities and investigate unusual transactions, orders, and trading behaviour.
- Review surveillance alerts and identify potential market misconduct or regulatory breaches.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and escalate suspicious activities where necessary.
- Maintain and enhance market surveillance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Support regulatory compliance activities, including reporting and internal control reviews.
- Liaise with regulators, external authorities, and internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Assist in strengthening corporate governance practices and internal processes.
- Support whistleblowing investigations, disciplinary matters, and other compliance projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in market surveillance, trading compliance, regulatory compliance, or derivatives trading environments.
- Experience in derivatives trading surveillance or investigations will be advantageous.
- Background in investigations, enforcement, regulatory bodies, or law enforcement is a plus.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in handling and analysing large datasets.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
