MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

  • Provide necessary onsite customer support for troubleshooting and repair wafer transfer equipment
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical and technical drawings is required.
  • Capable of analyzing problems and justifying them with the proper fundamental cause
  • Must be able to track and close any non-conformances by the customer’s deadlines
  • Define and implement a procedure to decrease the duplication of quality concerns
  • Ensure product quality and sustainability through internal control methods
  • Internal validation of the assembly process should be done on a regular basis
  • Work hand to hand with internal assembly team for the improvements
  • Create and manage internal Job Travellers.
  • Assist to monitor material shortages and escalate within team to avoid line down in Manufacturing line
  • Responsible to work with internal stakeholders on customer delivery schedules
  • Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, including process design, validation, and ramp-up.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and pilot runs to ensure production readiness.
  • Manage all the non-conformance of all the OEM materials reports and timely follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Any other assigned duties

Requirement:

  • Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical
  • Knowledge in assembly schematics
  • Interpret technical documents, pneumatic circuits and basic electronics is required
  • Able to work in teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skill with an extremely positive attitude towards working as a team
  • 2-3 years experience in semi-conductor equipment industry
