Mechanical Fitter

Job Description & Requirements

• Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by management
• Coordinate any corrective repair(s) requirements with Maintenance Engineer and follow up action
• Liaise, deal and follow up on corrective repairs with external workshop
• Able to read and understand basic drawings/fabrication instructions
• Check raw materials, dimensions and requirements from drawings
• Prepare to cut the raw materials to size and to carry out fit up of the raw materials
• Simple welding, general mechanical job, such as painting, material cutting, washing, pipe fitting, fabricate equipment, assembly, grinding, etc.
• Conduct site visits and compile pictures for reporting to management to ensure machineries and equipment are being used and maintained correctly on site

• Ability to communicate complex concepts
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work on weekend and Night shift.
