Medical Technician

About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Performs a wide variety of testing in the areas of hematology/coagulation, chemistry, urinalysis, diagnostic immunology, Blood Bank and microbiological testing in accordance with the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

This position serves as a medical technician in Clinical Pathology, Department of Pathology, in the medical facility.

Incumbent rotates in sections of Clinical Pathology such as Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank; Urinalysis; Diagnostic Immunology; and Quality Control as needed.
