Merchandiser Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the merchandiser in managing customer orders and coordinating with supplier sand factories.
  • Follow up on sample development, approvals, and production progress.
  • Prepare and update order sheets, purchase orders, and production
  • schedules.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding fabric, trims, labels, and accessories.
  • Ensure product specifications, measurements, and quality requirements are properly followed.
  • Monitor production timelines and report any delays or issues.
  • Coordinate shipment arrangements and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain proper records and filing of orders, samples, and related
  • documents.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • Preferably 1–2 years experience in garment / textile / uniform industry (Fresh graduates may also apply).
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Detail-oriented and responsible with good follow-up skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of garment production, fabric, and trims.
  • Experience working with suppliers and factories.
  • Basic understanding of size specifications and quality control.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

  • With 1–2 years’ experience: SGD $2,400+
