Network Operation Officer/Executive

Based in MSC’s Singapore Regional Office, the Operations Team is responsible for overall Network, Capacity, Berthing and Vessels. In this position, the incumbent will have opportunities to display their abilities, acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel stowage planning to achieve optimal utilization, safe sailing conditions, and efficient loading and discharge operations.
• Calculate slot/space requirements for capacity management within the Asia region.
• Manage slot sharing arrangements with partners.
• Manage vessel schedules and maintain KPIs.
• Oversee daily vessel operations.
• Management reporting and support to headquarters.

Who We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Degree holder, preferably in Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the container shipping industry.
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of CASP is an advantage.
• Team‑oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in additional languages is an added advantage.
