Night Auditor
.Night Audit & Financial Duties
- Perform end-of-day (EOD) procedures and close daily transactions.
- Reconcile room revenue, F&B revenue, and other hotel income.
- Verify all postings, charges, and payments for accuracy.
- Balance cash, credit cards, and city ledger transactions.
- Generate daily financial reports for management review.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare the Night Audit report and distribute it to management.
- Maintain proper records of all transactions and corrections.
- Highlight discrepancies and unusual transactions.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, and Accounting departments.
- Ensure all systems (PMS, POS) are properly updated and balanced.
Security & Safety
- Monitor hotel security during the night shift.
- Handle emergency situations according to hotel procedures.
- Ensure safety of guests and hotel property.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in Front Office or Night Audit role.
- Experience with hotel systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS).
- Basic accounting knowledge is required.
Reporting Line
- Reports to: Front Office Manager / Chief Accountant / Financial Controller

Working Conditions
- Night shift role (typically 11 PM – 7 AM).
- Requires full attention and ability to handle both guests and financial tasks.

- Zero or minimal financial discrepancies.
- Guest satisfaction during night shift.
- Timely completion of audit procedures.
- Proper system balancing.
