NOC Technician Level 2

You will monitor and control site access and surveillance systems, perform building and power system inspections, and follow established emergency and incident protocols. You will produce accurate event reports, create and manage access credentials, and maintain continuous communication between the NOC and operations. You will configure and update monitoring tools, trace past events using advanced tool features, create classified tickets in WebSynco, and take autonomous ownership of incident procedures until full resolution.

Responsibilities

• Control site access and monitor surveillance cameras using Unifi Tailscal Insite Gold VirtualKeyPad and Reolink Client
• Perform building inspection rounds inside and outside
• Follow and implement established emergency and incident protocols
• Maintain health and safety measures on site
• Power sites on and off and prevent unauthorized site entry
• Support the team in applying emergency and incident protocols
• Arm and disarm sites to prevent unauthorized entry
• Produce event reports accurately
• Monitor machine compute power and temperatures using MGMT monitoring tools
• Inspect power supply systems
• Create and disable access cards and maintain a strict access log
• Maintain constant communication between the NOC and operations
• Configure and update monitoring software and tools independently
• Use advanced monitoring and access tool features to trace past events
• Provide on-call technician support
• Create classified tickets in WebSynco
• Identify operational anomalies and take initiative to resolve them
• Own emergency or incident procedures autonomously until full resolution

Requirements

• DES AEC DEC diploma ideally in computer science
• At least 1 year of experience in camera monitoring or as a security agent
• Knowledge of Office 365
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating system
• Bilingual French and English is an asset
