About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with the Director for Surgery, Department of Preoperative Nursing. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Obtain patient history and collect health information.
Interpret data, identifies wellness and risk factors, and formulate patient care plans.
Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment.
Maintain patient awareness and take appropriate action as needed.
Interpret and report significant changes in patient's condition to the licensed independent providers (LIP).
Evaluate the effectiveness of patient treatment and revise care plans in consultation with the LIP.
Manage non-urgent patient problems and recommend self-care based on approved protocols.
Perform comprehensive assessments of patient and family learning needs.
