OTC Derivatives Sales Trader

You will originate and deepen relationships with institutional clients, advise them on crypto derivative strategies, and guide them through the execution of complex OTC forwards and options. You will provide market insights, manage a portfolio of client relationships, ensure compliant trade execution and post-trade delivery, collaborate with trading, structuring, legal, and operations, and use programming to automate and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the OTC derivatives space
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with institutional clients
• Advise clients and guide them through execution of complex derivative transactions
• Provide market insights and strategic advice to clients
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships and identify additional trading needs
• Navigate regulatory requirements and internal compliance procedures
• Collaborate with trading, structuring, legal, and operations teams to deliver solutions
• Ensure seamless execution of trades and efficient post-trade services
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and trading activities
• Use programming to improve workflows and reduce manual effort

Requirements

• Strong understanding of OTC derivative products, particularly forwards and options
• Proven experience in a client-facing sales trading role
• Demonstrable track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, corporations, and banks
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of relevant market regulations and compliance requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
