Parts Clerk -- Toolroom
Overview
The Parts Clerk (Toolroom) issues out and receives in tooling/equipment and consumables. Maintains records and is responsible for reviewing and abiding by Company and Tool Control practices and processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a ‘Toolroom’ by issuing out, receiving in tooling/equipment and consumables
- Maintains daily, weekly & monthly records and submits them to Toolroom Supervisor
- Transfer Tooling/Equipment to prescribed storage locations
- Operate pallet jacks and/or forklift
- Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
- Maintain TCMax database
- Perform other various duties as needed, assigned, and/or required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and multi-task
- Ability to enter data accurately into databases
- Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules, procedure manuals and processes
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff
- Ability to use general office equipment such as copier, scanner, printers, etc.
- Must be able to communicate questions and issues to management
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- Three years experience in supply logistics required
- Customer Service/ Retail experience is preferred
- Previous experience conducting physical inventory counts preferred
Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
