PASTRY CHEF

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist in production of various kind of pastry products in a factory environment in accordance with specifications and order requirements

- Assist and work together in the team for cake coating, cake assembly and cream mixing as according to the schedule

- Follow and carry out instructions and work plans assigned by kitchen in charge

- Monitor and maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients

- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with HACCP/FSSC requirements

- Operate and ensure regular maintenance of all baking equipments

- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness at the work space at all times


Requirements:

- Passion in pastry making

- Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in making pastry or in a similar role

- Ability to work well together in a team to meet production datelines

- Able to work independently as and when need to

- Sense of responsibility and good initiative

- Possess an eye for detail

- 5 working days per week
