Position Summary
SRS Acquiom (SRSA) is looking for a Payments Analyst to join our high-performing Operations team and help power the distribution engine behind complex M&A deals. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, data-heavy environment, where ambiguity is the norm and thinking critically is non-negotiable. You’ll be at the center of managing payment workflows—tracking everything from shareholder documentation and compliance. The work blends heads-down processing with heads-up decision-making, and you’ll regularly navigate a space where “it depends” is a frequent starting point.
Core responsibilities of this role include the processing of all mail related to security holder documentation, following up with holders regarding deficient items, data entry of personally identifiable information and the population and reconciliation of shareholder documents within a data room. In this role the analyst will rotate into the daily processing of payments to include creating payment files for submission to the bank partners and researching any returned or delayed payments. Strong project management, detail oriented, discretion and excellent communications skills will be essential in this role, as interaction with sophisticated investors and handling of PII will be on-going. This person should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle multiple transactions at one time and should have the ability to work both as a teammate within the operations group and with a high level of autonomy on individual projects.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $60k and $70k, depending on experience level.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process Letters of Transmittal and other legal documentation submitted via mail and e-mail, complete data entry within the required SLA, and maintain the integrity of the system of record

- Process returned payments and stop check requests
- Take ownership of individual transactions and act as the go-to for questions from security holders and co-workers alike
- Track document retention requirements and implement procedures for proper disposal to remain in compliance with FINRA standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience, exceed SLAs, and improve efficiency
- Maintain and support a flexible schedule based on the speed of the deal and the needs of the client, this may include evening or weekend hours where needed
