Pega Technical Lead (Banking Transformation, KYC/AML)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Pega solutions supporting regulatory compliance, customer lifecycle management, and digital banking transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership for the development of complex workflow automation and case management applications using the Pega Platform.
- Partner with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and solution architects to translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and govern end-to-end customer onboarding, KYC remediation, AML review, and customer due diligence workflows.
- Define application architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards across Pega ecosystems and enterprise platforms.
- Lead integration initiatives involving REST APIs, SOAP services, Kafka messaging platforms, middleware technologies, and external banking applications.
- Review solution designs, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive platform modernization, version upgrades, migration activities, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Manage technical risks, conduct impact assessments, and recommend strategic improvements to application architecture and delivery processes.
- Support production systems through governance of incident management, root cause analysis, service restoration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance on Pega best practices, design patterns, and development standards.
- Participate in Agile delivery programs, sprint planning, release governance, and stakeholder reporting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise application development with at least 8 years of specialized experience in Pega Platform implementation.
- Strong expertise in Pega architecture, case management, workflow automation, and business process management frameworks.
- Proven experience delivering banking technology solutions supporting KYC, AML, CLM, onboarding, compliance, or regulatory transformation programs.
- Experience designing large-scale enterprise integrations using Kafka, REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware platforms.
- Strong knowledge of banking operational processes, customer due diligence requirements, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading platform upgrade, migration, and application modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and Java technologies.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and communication skills.
