Physician (Gynecology)
About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
Examine, diagnose, and treat the full spectrum of gynecologic patients, addressing both routine and complex cases.
Evaluate functional and dysfunctional conditions of the female pelvis, including masses, pain, urological complaints, bleeding abnormalities, hormonal imbalances, and infections.
Conduct office-based gynecologic procedures such as colposcopy and treatment of dysplasia.
Participate as a member of the medical treatment team by establishing rehabilitative goals, monitoring patient responses to interventions, and recommending future care strategies.
Participate in the ongoing medical education of medical students, residents, interns, and fellows by delivering lectures and demonstrations, conducting one-on-one consultations, and engaging in a variety of educational activities.
