Physician (Psychiatrist)- BHIP

NOTE: The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this position. For more information, refer to Required Documents below. The Millington VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Millington, TN is recruiting for a Psychiatrist to serve as a full-time Mental Health physician.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform evaluations, diagnosis(es), treatments, and preventions of mental health disorders. Perform comprehensive examinations and assessments, determining diagnosis(es), and completing medical work-ups. Perform and document comprehensive history and physical assessments/evaluations. Treat, manage, monitor, and promote health among patients. Develop and implement treatment plans, referring to other specialties or appropriate community resources. Provide consultation to staff nurses, medical staff, interdisciplinary colleagues. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards. Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program.
