Pool & Beach Attendant
At FAENA The Red Sea, every guest experience is thoughtfully curated to inspire relaxation, connection, and unforgettable moments by the sea. We are currently seeking attentive and service-oriented Pool & Beach Attendants to join our luxury recreation team. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool and beach environment while delivering exceptional guest service in line with FAENA’s luxury hospitality standards and Forbes expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests across pool and beach areas, creating a warm and professional atmosphere.
- Monitor guest activity to ensure safety and compliance with all pool and beach regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of pool decks, beach areas, loungers, cabanas, and surrounding facilities.
- Set up loungers, towels, umbrellas, and guest amenities to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation.
- Ensure towels, water stations, and guest supplies are fully stocked and readily available throughout service periods.
- Inspect pool and beach facilities regularly and report maintenance or operational issues promptly.
- Monitor pool water conditions and communicate any concerns to the relevant department.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies, guest incidents, or safety concerns when required.
- Provide basic first aid assistance and emergency support until additional help arrives if necessary.
- Assist guests with inquiries, directions, reservations, and general recreational requests.
- Support food and beverage service coordination where required to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
- Report incidents, hazards, or unusual activities to supervisors immediately.
- Deliver proactive, personalised, and attentive service to ensure a seamless luxury guest experience.
- Uphold FAENA grooming, presentation, and luxury hospitality standards at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with Forbes standards, maintaining exceptional service quality, attention to detail, and operational excellence at all times.
- Previous experience in a pool, beach club, resort, recreation, or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of pool safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- First aid or lifeguard certification is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Professional grooming and appearance aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
- Experience working within a Forbes standard hotel or luxury resort environment is highly advantageous.
- Fluent English communication skills required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
