Practical Nurse (Outpatient)

About the Position: This position is located within a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Army Medical Center Madigan and supports the provision of healthcare services in various outpatient clinical settings. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service A Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized

Provide routine nursing care, record vitals, track labs, and report significant clinical changes.

Perform focused assessments, assist with triage, manage medications, and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Administer prescribed medications, follow correct dose and route, and watch for side effects.

Prepare patients, set up equipment, maintain sterility, and assist with basic procedures.

Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.

Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
