Process Engineer, Wets (JR11990)

YOUR ROLE

  • Take on the role of Process owner for Metal plating (eless / immersion / …) and implement process improvement projects to achieve the best possible process cost per wafer, equipment reliability, wafer fab yield and throughput parameters.
  • Maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and real-time solution implementation.
  • Manage new equipment qualification, liaise with maintenance until release of the tool to production.
  • Plan, organize and implement technical support and expertise on specific tools to Assistant Shift Process Engineers and Technicians.
  • Provide training to Shift Engineers, Technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge.
  • Implementation and Review of FDC/APC setup for manufacturing tools.
  • Translates the requirements of Production and IE needs to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters.
  • Participate in cost reduction projects to maintain cost efficiency
  • Participate to regular Equipment downtime pareto reports and analyzing for any chronic/repeated issues.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Degree in Material Science/Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Physics/ Chemistry. Minimum 2 to 5 years experience.
  • Experience in Wet Equipment process will be good. Other Tool type will still be considered.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum support
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills are required
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills to teamwork within & with other departments.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office applications.
  • Good knowledge in statistical tools, problem solving tools, FMEA and 8D
