Description

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to oversee our procurement operations in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplychain management, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to developstrategic supplier relationships especially in Construction Industry. This rolewill be critical in ensuring we achieve our procurement objectives whilemaintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Researches and compares suppliers, goods, and services.
  • Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor and determine inventory levels and purchase needs.
  • Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices.
  • Resolving supply, quality, service, and invoice issues with vendors.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders in Quick Books based on the material requisitions on timely manner.
  • Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments.
  • Schedule and verify purchase deliveries.
  • Build and maintain positive long-term supplier relationships.
  • Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing terms.
  • Manages the daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders delivery, and shipment schedules, invoice submission to finance for timely payments to vendors or suppliers.
  • Answering phone calls, ordering of pantry items, stationary ordering, arrange for aircon maintenance/printer, sourcing venue or catering for staff and workers events or gatherings, sourcing quotations for rental lorries, vehicles, company owned cars, vehicles for rental or buying.
  • Sourcing materials for damaged parts for company vehicles and undertake any other necessary duties as assigned.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to contract terms and conditions.
  • Procurement Cycle Time: Average time it takes to complete the procurement process.
  • Risk Management: Measure the identification, assessment, and minimization avoidanceof risks in procurement activities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and supplier evaluation techniques.
