Procurement Executive

Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and local statutory requirements.

  • Prepare purchase orders and liaise closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

  • Conduct cost comparisons to meet operational requirements while ensuring quality, service, and cost-effectiveness in the company's best interests.

  • Assist in sourcing competitive quotations from suppliers.

  • Assist in preparing monthly reports for management.

  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration preferred, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to justify purchasing decisions using data and figures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills.

  • A team player with the ability to work independently and possess strong organizational skills.
