Product Manager Advanced Insights & Modeling
You will frame high-impact business problems, define success metrics and constraints, and own the forecasting product roadmap from definition through iteration. You will shape data strategy, perform hands-on data analysis and feature engineering, partner with ML engineers on model development and validation, monitor model performance, synthesize insights, translate complex analytical concepts for diverse audiences, and drive in-product education and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own the forecasting product roadmap end-to-end
- Define business context, success metrics, and constraints
- Maintain clear documentation for model decisions and systems
- Manage prioritization, timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional alignment
- Partner with ML engineers to ensure models are grounded in data
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to inform model design and evaluation
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesize insights
- Analyze forecast results to identify trends, variances, and recommendations
- Translate complex analytical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Drive adoption through documentation, in-product education, and rollout strategies
- Build relationships across stakeholders to understand needs and evangelize forecasting capabilities
Requirements
- 6+ years in product management, management consulting, data science, model analytics, or a hybrid analytical role
- Hands-on SQL proficiency
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Strong understanding of forecasting models, time-series analysis, and ML applications
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or consumer finance
- Executive presence and ability to distill complex topics for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver in ambiguous environments
- Comfort operating at both strategic and technical levels
- Prior experience at a strategy consulting firm or in a cross-functional analytics/strategy role at a fintech or technology company
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, GitHub, Databricks, and Claude
