Product Manager - Backoffice Product
Overview of the role:
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead and evolve the Backoffice Product at Flutter Brazil.The Backoffice is a critical internal platform used by multiple business teams to operate and scale key capabilities across areas such as Content Management, Risk & Trading, Compliance and Legal, Promotions & Generosity, and Customer Support.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and the delivery team to understand business needs, prioritise opportunities, and shape a clear roadmap for the Backoffice product. You will help revisit the current product scope and support the evolution of the platform towards greater scalability, efficiency and usability. This role is ideal for someone with solid product management foundations, strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
What you’ll do:
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own and manage the Backoffice product roadmap, backlog and priorities.
- Help define the short, medium and long-term evolution of the Backoffice platform, ensuring alignment with
company goals and business needs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve internal user experience and increase operational
efficiency.
- Define product success metrics and use them to track impact and guide decisions.
Discovery, Prioritisation & Delivery
- Work with internal users and stakeholders to understand needs, pain points and opportunities across the
Backoffice domains.
- Translate business requirements and operational challenges into clear product initiatives, user stories and
delivery-ready work.
- Use data, user feedback and cost-benefit analysis to prioritise initiatives and separate signal from noise.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Research and Data teams to deliver valuable and scalable solutions.
- Apply Scrum practices effectively within the delivery team and contribute to clear planning, refinement and
execution.
Stakeholder & Dependency Management
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business areas such as Risk & Trading, Compliance,
Promotions, Content and Customer Support.
- Manage expectations, communicate priorities and keep stakeholders informed on roadmap, progress and
delivery timelines.
- Negotiate scope, trade-offs and timelines when balancing competing priorities and limited delivery capacity.
- Manage dependencies with other Product Managers and squads, aligning deliverables and timelines to
ensure clarity and predictability.
Communication, Insight & AI
- Communicate product decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, in both spoken and
written English when required.
- Produce clear documentation, roadmap updates, executive summaries and decision records.
- Use data and insights to support product recommendations and prioritisation.
- Use AI tools to improve product management effectiveness, including analysis of large volumes of
information, synthesis of findings, documentation, discovery support and prioritisation
What you’ll bring:
Product Management Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally working with internal tools, B2B products, platforms or operational systems.
- Experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, product discovery and delivery cycles.- Good understanding of product developmen practices, including prioritisation, user stories, success metrics and iterative delivery.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile delivery rituals.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret data, identify meaningful insights and turn complexity into clear recommendations.
- Ability to connect product decisions with business goals, operational priorities and user needs.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and helping shape a clear product direction.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across different business areas.
- Strong negotiation skills, especially when managing competing priorities, scope and timelines.
- Excellent dependency management skills, with the ability to align work across multiple Product Managers, squads and stakeholders.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly across different audiences.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences, Customer, Business & AI Mindset
- Strong focus on internal users, operational excellence and business impact.
- Passion for improving tools and workflows that help business teams operate more effectively.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to support discovery, analysis, documentation, synthesis and prioritisation.
- Curiosity and openness to using AI to improve product workflows and internal productivity
